Raw Materials :

The quality of raw materials plays a important role in deciding the quality of concrete.
Cement: Approved / BIS marked brands should be used for making concrete. We use approved brands of concrete in making Ready Mix Concrete.
Sand: Very coarse (Zone – I) & very fine (Zone – IV) sand should not be used for making concrete. Sand of medium size should only be used. Sand should be free
from mud & other foreign particles. Not more than 8% dust is permissible in the sand by the BIS.
Aggregates: They are mixed in two sizes, viz., 10mm & 20mm. They form major volume in the concrete. All the aggregates should be free from clay & dust. .Angular sized aggregates should be used to get good strength of the concrete. Water to be used should be free from all harmful chemicals & impurities. This else wise effects the quality of concrete. Generally water that is fit for drinking should be used for making concrete. At CRSons RMC each & every ingredient is tested at the state of the art laboratory, at the plant, by competent persons. Only material that passes BIS norms are used in making good quality RMC.
